Kristi Hunter

MPT, BSc, FCAMPT, Certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling


Kristi graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2012 and immediately pursued the Masters of Physical Therapy program. She has played high level volleyball since a very young age and represented Canada on the international level.

Kristi developed an early interest in physiotherapy and the rehabilitation process due to the numerous injuries she sustained in volleyball.
Kristi has pursued many post-secondary interests such as manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling. Her approach to physiotherapy is exercise based. She utilizes manual therapy and exercise prescription to help clients achieve their goals. Most recently Kristi has became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT). 

When she isn’t working, Kristi likes to stay active and spend time outside. She looks forward to her time in Île des Chênes assisting clients return (as close as possible) to their pre-injury lifestyle.

Kelsey Brown

MPT, B(Kin), MClSc in Advanced Health Care Practice CMP, FCAMPT, Certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling


Kelsey attended the University of Manitoba and completed her Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2013 and continued on to pursue her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2016. In 2021 Kelsey completed her Masters in Clinical Science (MClSc) in Advanced Health Care Practice and Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Western University in London, Ontario. With this, she became a Fellow in the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Kelsey is also passionate about her training in both acupuncture and dry needling. Before becoming a physical therapist, Kelsey worked at a gym and brings with her several years of personal training experience. Kelsey enjoys strength training herself, and is planning to pursue further designations in the strength and conditioning fields including becoming a Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F). Kelsey enjoys working with patients to help them achieve their goals by creating a home exercise program that is tailored to each person and helping them get back to their activities! Her treatment focus is multimodal using both manual therapy and modalities such as acupuncture and dry needling to achieve the desired results. In her personal time, Kelsey has a young pup who loves keeping her active with multiple walks, bouts of fetch and workouts. Kelsey grew up in the Interlake and also loves going back to visit family and friends and to be close to the water.

Lisa Bartley

BMR(PT), MClSc, FCAMPT, Certified in Acupuncture


Lisa graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2011 with her Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. In 2017, she completed her Master’s of Clinical Science at Western University and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).

She enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with a multimodal approach using manual therapy, exercise, acupuncture and education to help her patients return to their chosen activities/sports. She has a special interest in treating curlers as she is an avid curler herself. Lisa also offers mentorship to colleagues pursuing their advanced manual therapy levels and exams through the National Orthopaedic Division and associated university programs.

Lisa is a farm girl at heart. Outside of the clinic, she spends most of her spare time at her family farm in Roland, MB or Falcon Lake in the summer. Lisa is excited to join the IDC team and continue to serve rural Manitobans!

Vendy Sarrasin

Massage Therapist


Vendy graduated in 2002 from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy. She has been working in private practice, spa and clinics. She has taken a short hiatus to look after her kids and now will be returning to massage at Ile des Chenes Physiotherapy.
Her passion is working with clients to create a treatment best suited for them whether the goal is to reduce everyday stress or regain mobility. She does both deep tissue and therapeutic massage specializing in upper body shoulder and neck.



Amy Buhler

Billings Manager/Physio Aide


Amy lives in Tourond with her husband and 2 girls. She graduated with her Rehabilitation Assistant certificate from Winnipeg Technical College in 2014. When she isn’t at the clinic, she loves spending time outdoors, being with her family, bonfires and travelling.


Tobi Ann Baumgartner

Client Experience Manager/Physio Aide
Certified Fitness Leader


Tobi lives nearby in Lorette with her family. She enjoys family time, her photography, the outdoors, and keeping active and healthy. She enjoys helping clients at the clinic. Tobi is a member of the Manitoba Fitness Council as a Certified Fitness Leader of Resistance Training. She is currently pursuing ongoing training through Manitoba Fitness Council.

Tobi runs our in house Bootcamp Fitness Classes since April 2022. Her training allows her to modify workouts for clients new and experienced, allowing widespread participation.

Mea Adcoe

Yoga Teacher

Mea lives in Niverville with her partner and loving cat. This is her fourth province lived in. Mea is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher, she works with people of all ages & abilities. Mea has a deep knowledge of asanas & correct alignment, as well as meditation & breathing techniques. She enjoys inspiring others to improve their wellness & find a practice that helps them grow & heal. She is continuing to build onto her certifications with future yoga teacher training programs including an upcoming trauma informed yoga program.
